Heat the water in a saucepan, add the sugar and stir until it melts, leaving it to cool aside. squeeze the lemon; remove the seeds from the watermelon and pass the core in a blender. Add the lemon juice to the juice obtained and strain it through a fine sieve. Mix the watermelon juice with the water in which you melted the sugar.
Serve cold, with ice cubes, decorated with mint or basil leaves. (I didn't have it, and my ice is still in the freezer :))
